“Best place for a reunion you could imagine! Perfect for large groups. We had many and never felt like we were on top of each other. Plenty of room!”
“There’s something for the whole family at the Blackwater Lodge. The home is clean, and spacious. The lake is great for the pontoon boat and the jet ski.”
“It is truly a gorgeous spot to escape the daily chaos of city life. We would gladly go back to this unique location in a heartbeat!”
“Exceptional facility! The home, the lake, the boat, and perfect weather! Six grandchildren and they all caught a fish… it does not get much better. Best family vacation ever!”
“Everything was exceptional – the weather, the property and the home. It was clean and very high end. We rented boats, fished, tubed, skiied, had bonfires daily and mostly relaxed amongst the loon calls (also saw some eagles.) It was a wonderful time, filled with great memories we will always cherish.”
“We had the most fabulous time at the lodge!!! This pic was taken the day we left but some had left earlier in the week. Jason was so good about coming when we needed him. We think this vacation was even better than our Mexican one we did a few years ago as we were all in the same home this time and could see each other OR disappear! What a beautiful home. And the lake was so peaceful! The kids loved the trampoline. And we did luck out with fantastic weather. Thanks again!!”
You bet Sarah.
A group of friends and I just spent a long weekend at Blackwater Lodge to celebrate a 50th Birthday. It was awesome! The lodge itself is beautiful!
There is so much room to spread out. There were 18 of us and we never felt like we were on top of one another. The kitchen was great. And as usual a central meeting spot. We cooked three big meals in there. We really appreciated the multitude of refrigerators!! The Lake is incredible. Fairly quiet, we felt like we had it to ourselves. Fishing was really good. Pulled in a walleye that got added to dinner on Friday night.
Working with Sarah to get the reservation and logistics lined up was super easy. You can tell that they really care about the Lodge. The property manager, Jason, was super nice and able to help with anything we ran across.
We also ventured out into Longville. Met Mark at Country Smoke House. Took home some really tasty bacon and cajun beef jerky – YUM!
We also took a trip over to BC’s Corral on Mule Lake. Bo and staff treated us well! And a special shoot out to the gals at the Bottle Shop in Longville for helping us restock on refreshments and ice.
Great weekend, awesome Lodge, and really fun area. Highly recommend it!
Thanks again Sarah. We really enjoyed our time at your place!
Sandy
